The Sales Division for Northern Europe has a vacancy for a challenging position in an international environment:
ACCOUNT MANAGER DENMARK AND SWEDEN
Main areas of responsibility:
Responsible for the sales development of Grodan substrates and supporting services in Denmark and Sweden, including the planning, implementation and follow-up of activities.
- Sales action planning based on Grodan’s strategic goals and market approaches.
- Implementation of sales activities according to plan.
- Management and support of distributors to achieve common goals.
- Achieve agreed budgeted sales figures.
- Ensure after-sales service in line with Grodan procedures.
- Build and maintain good and effective relations with existing and future customers, dealers and important influencers.
- Continuous updates of the customer relation management system, in line with trends and developments.
- Report progress on main areas of responsibility regularly in agreed upon written format and discuss threats, opportunities and corrective actions in regular bilateral meetings with the Business Manager Northern Europe and France.
- Involved in (or providing input) for internal projects.
Requirements for the job holder:
- Master degree in Horticulture - or equal knowledge gained through work experience.
- Experience with, and good knowledge of sales processes.
- Customer and result oriented, decisive, entrepreneurial and able to perform effectively under stress.
- Self-going and able to plan and organise own day-to-day activities.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Explorer, etc.)
- Fluent in oral and written Danish and / or Swedish language.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Willingness to undertake travel (approximately 20 – 30 days per year).
